Day 61: A trip to San Angelo–Why did we go there?

Miles Driven: 260

Total Miles: 7895

San Angelo was one place that a lot of people asked; why we were going there and what exactly is in San Angelo?

Well what we found was Fort Concho, a fort that was established in 1867. It was also the location where the “Buffalo Soldiers” were stationed here from 1875 to 1882.

“Confederate Gray”, the civil war veteran’s water cooler (er.. horse), they were very upset when it was used in a parade.

Lunch was at the Western Ronin, located in the local library. I had a spicy crab sandwich and James and Johnny had sushi rolls with a western twist.
